Been a few minutes since I last posted around here. I see they finally added a place to discus trading. Only took half a decade.
I have quite a few items that I could never sell, I may eventually give all my stuff away but that's a whole different thing. But these two are by far my favorite pieces The wand isn't super valuable per say but it's the first item I ever "wanted" in the game. I waited a long time to find that wand, not buying anything I didn't need so that when it showed itself I could, hopefully, afford it. The Jitte... well that's just too cool not to love.

That's an easy one.
Q8 15^50 Dusk Blade.
I would never ever sell this one.
The story:
I was collecting all cantha swords, q8 15^50 (& +5e, but didn't succeed there). I was about to give up on the 15^50 part as well, until one day I had all the luck in the world. First someone messaged me to buy his Shinobi...leaving 2 left to collect. Then Todie sold me the Jitte, which made me quite happy already...2/3 remaining swords on one day. And then Todie, yes, him again, decided to leave me speechless. He gave me the Dusk Blade, for free. He wanted me to have a complete collection, so he decided to get it for me (he traded a very exclusive shield to a friend of his, in exchange for the Dusk).
The Dusk Blade might not be the most beautiful cantha skin, but for me this sword had a tremendous emotional value.
It reminds me of the fact that there ARE very nice people in this game.
Thx once again, Todie! *bows*

Sorry for the necro, but ya, I play a Necromancer ;3
My untradeable would be the very first Glob Of Ectoplasm I've ever gotten.
Untill the day that I die, I will not part from it. My dearest friend who passed away 2 years ago, taught me to farm. I asked him for some money, but instead, he gave me an ecto. I was like, whats this? Completely unknowing that it is used as currency(Always had my trade chat off since its spammed 24/7). He explained it to me, and told me to keep it untill the value of the ecto goes up. I kept it, and kept it. Then I heard my friend was in hospital, and that cancer was seeding out through his body. I was literally shocked. After about a month of chemo's and other remedies, the doctors said it was too late. He passed away shortly after that. Everytime I see that ecto in my storage, I remember the times I spent with him, remember the fights I had with him, and how he always kept on smiling, watching the positives over the negatives. Everytime I see it, it fills my hearth with joy, that somehow, we will meet up again in the afterlife.
That's the story behind my untradeable ecto. I do not put it in the crafting material storage, instead I reserved a special slot for that one ecto, the very first slot in the very first tab, it will remain there, forever.

Reading through the trade forums, trying to get an idea of wth is going on in the markets after not playing for a year ... and I really enjoyed reading through this thread. It's great to know that some of our "untradeable" items have nothing to do with their value.
Mine is Gwen's Broken Flute .. I know, I could junk it, get another no problems, but it holds sentimental value of Really Good Times.
Our small guild of friends used to do chest runs & other farming stuffs as a group. During one of the runs someone was accidentally wielding the flute instead of their weapon, and that person happened upon a very nice drop (back then) of a superior vigor (remember when runes were actually worth something?!). I'm going back almost 5 years here, I know!
We attributed their good luck to the flute ... a few days later we all had one, and from that day onward the group runs commenced with everyone wielding Gwen's Broken Flute.
Glenn passed away much too young after being struck down by a cerebral aneurysm & 2 strokes, but in loving memory of him & to honor the 3 years we enjoyed playing this game together we all still do our runs with beer nearby, clothing optional, and wielding those damned flutes.
It has absolutely no value but it's the one thing I'd never part with.

r8 14>50 felly on my war
r8 14>50 eternal recurve on my rang
both customized so they wouldn't even come up in trade talks. both my favorite skins at the time. got them cuz I thought I'd never afford perfects and was told the missing 1% didn't affect overall damage.
